REHEARSAL
Space Available

 

Work on your performance and rehearse with your band in our rehearsal room, complete with a stage, microphones, mixer, and amplification. This space is perfect for starting a band or recreational bands.

Your Music

 

Make a recreational recording of your music with the assistance of a technician for only $25 with your rehearsal space rental. Hearing what you sound like recorded can be a great tool when evaluating your performance and sound.

Our History and Our Mission

 

Anton Smets grew up in the Netherlands and fondly remembers the music schools there. He has been very interested in establishing a music school in Eau Claire on that European model of local music schools where students do more than just take music lessons. These schools offer the opportunity to learn about the history of music, take appreciation classes, go on field trips, and participate in discussion groups. They are founded on the belief that music creates social networks of good, successful children.

In 2009, Anton began to make his dream a reality when he bought the Eau Claire Music Lesson Center. Then he remodeled the building on Ohm Avenue to expand the services offered to make it more like the European music schools.

Future of Our Music School

 

We have big plans to expand the programs our music school offers including:

Group Lessons: Your ensemble or band can take a group lesson and learn how to play better as a team. Learn how to listen to each other so you can offer your audiences a better performance!

Jam Sessions: Participate in themed jam sessions and work on your improvisation!

Music Appreciation Classes: Learn about all different types of music from around the world.

Virtual Music Room: Conduct an orchestra on a big screen or rock out with the band in front of a virtual audience!
